Welcome to the Essex County Scout Caving Team!

We are a friendly team of Scout cavers, eager to take Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Network and Leaders on underground adventures.  We have Scout caving permit holders and assistant instructors available to give your YP a very different adventure, helping them gain Skills for Life.  Your YP will be able to work through their Caving badge, Caving Activity Plus, and Caving Instructor badges with us on these trips.

We will meet you and your group in Mendip (Somerset) on a Saturday morning, take you underground for the day on Saturday, and then do the same on Sunday.  You are responsible for arranging your travel and accommodation, and for caring for your YP above ground.  We are of course able to advise on where to stay and other logistics.
